Fall into RECREATION:
Minutemen Football - GAMES PLAYED EVERY SUNDAY. COME SUPPORT YOUR FOUR WONDERFUL TEAMS THIS YEAR. HOME GAMES WILL BE AT MEISEL FIELD ON SEPTEMBER 9, 30 OCTOBER 7, 28.
High School Musical on Ice - Wednesday, November 21. Bus will leave the Chisholm Community Center at 6 p.m. Show begins at 7:30 p.m. Lower level seating at the Continental Airlines Arena. Tickets are $38.00 including show and transportation. Reserve your ticket at the Sarah Bailey Civic Center 30 Church Mall. LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE!!!
Pee Wee Flag Football - This is a flag football program for children entering grades PreK and Kindergarten. This is a clinic program that will run for 6 weeks beginning September 15 and ending October 20. The recreation department is currently seeking a parent volunteer to run this program. The fee for this program is $30.
Flag Football Cheering - This program is for children in grades 1st through 3rd. The girls will have a weekly practice and cheer at Saturday afternoon football games. All games are held at the Springfield pool field. The kids will learn sideline cheers and a small halftime routine. The girls will be given a cheer shirt and parents are required to purchase additional uniform pieces. The registration fee is $30 for this program.
Fall Tennis Lessons- presented by Springfield Recreation and Tennis Dynamics beginning in September. Ages 5 - Adult. For more information on schedule please contact Bill at 973-912-1882

On Tuesday, October 5th at 9:30 a.m. at Town Hall and at 6:30 p.m. at the Training Room of the Fire House, join me for a friendly discussion about the Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority (RVSA) and the recent sewerage utility bill. I am eager to hear your concerns and suggestions so that I may work towards improving the utility established by the Township Committee. For your convenience, the discussion will happen in the morning & evening. I look forward to seeing you!
