Imortant Notice regarding Farmer's Market

Please be advised that due to the planned construction work on Monutain Avenue next week, the Farmers’ Market is cancelled for Mon., Aug 2nd.
However, you can visit Alstede Farms in Maplewood, on Springfield Ave., just a mile past the Home Depot, from 2 pm until 7 pm.

Union County Road Paving Notice

Update !!!

Please be advised that Mountain Avenue from Shunpike Road to North Trivett Avenue will be paved on August 3rd, and August 4th, weather permitting.  In addition, Main Street from Springfield Avenue to the Millburn Township Line will be paved on or about Augut 13, 2010 and the work may last until August 16, 2010.

New Playground Equipment Being Installed

New playground structures are being installed at the following locations: Denham Park, Laurel Park and Smithfield Park.
Playground upgrades are being made to the existing equipment at the following locations: Irwin Street Park, Henshaw Park, Ruby Park and Chisholm community Center. 
All new equipment will meet the US Consumer Product Safety Commission's guidelines and all are ADA accessible. In addition, the products meet the ASTM standard, and are IPEMA certified.
Your patience is appreciated during installation.
